The purpose of the Appoquinimink Walkthrough form is to gain an overview (snapshot) of teaching practices and student learning opportunities throughout a school, grade configuration, and/or the entire district.  This information is used to monitor the pervassiveness of practice and guage the level of implementation of research-based teaching and learning practices over a period of time.  Those areas identified as more challenging will direct planning efforts for additional staff professional development at the building, grade configuration or district level.
