MIT Hillel's Shabbat and Holiday Grant

MIT Hillel's Shabbat and Holiday Grant provides students with resources to plan and execute an independent Shabbat or holiday program. Whether it is a pre-Yom Kippur discussion or a Shabbat dinner in your dorm with your grandmother's matzah ball soup recipe, we are here to help you make it happen and make it meaningful. Guidelines: Please submit the application at least two weeks prior to the event. The application includes a description of the event, your publicity plan, your target audience, and a detailed budget. A face-to-face meeting may be required to clarify budget and details. Resources: Based on the nature of the program, we can provide both financial and educational resources. We're also happy to help you find a space if you don't have one; just contact us for assistance. Reimbursement procedure: Please submit all receipts to the Hillel office (basement of W11) during business hours (9-5pm) no later than two weeks after the event. Label the receipts with your name and the phrase "Shabbat and Holiday Grant." Also, please provide: -Copies of any materials used, educational and promotional. -A name and email list of all participants. -Any photos taken at the event.
