FRIENDS OF THE TRAIL
The maintenance of these markers along 309 kilometres of trail is a very expensive project. In an effort to offset this cost SHFS has established a Friend of the NWMP Trail program.

For a donation of $100, your name, community and year of donation will be engraved on a replica of one of the trail marker plaques.

Your engraved plaque will be mounted on an available Trail post. As a donor you will receive an enlarged photograph of your marker and the GPS coordinates of its location.

Maintenance for the Fort Walsh-Wood Mountain Trail markers is dependant on the weather. Our volunteers strive to get on the Trail before seeding occurs and after harvest. Your plaque might not be installed in the year of your donation, but it will be placed as soon as possible.

All donations are tax deductible.
