I, knowing the importance of being an effective tutor for iGlobal Educational Services, agree to tutor and supervise my learner(s) for the duration of the scheduled program time. In addition, I will be responsible for devoting approximately one hour per week in preparation for iGlobal Educational Services, this includes one brief meeting with my coordinator per week via email. I understand that iGlobal Educational Services online tutoring services and I will have the appropriate technology to service students. I understand that I should not miss any of the sessions of the program, and if it becomes necessary for me to miss, I agree to contact my online tutor coordinator as far in advance as possible and to find a substitute to take my place. I agree to arrive punctually in the virtual classroom before the tutoring session begins, preferably 5 minutes before. I will also adhere to the following guidelines: I will monitor my learner’s behavior and be aware of where s/he is at all times; I will not leave the virtual classroom while in a tutoring session; I understand that this an independent contractor position and agree to both a criminal background check and fingerprinting prior to being hired as an online academic coach.
