The support engineer will also be expected to be able to fend for themselves in a Windows Server environment. As the incoming support engineer, you will have superior communication skills and exceptional knowledge and ability in the following technical areas: - Microsoft Windows desktop OS - Microsoft Office Suite - Accessing remote file servers and printers - Desktop anti-virus and anti-malware software You will have a great understanding on how to work in an environment with the following technologies: - Microsoft Windows server OS - ActiveDirectory - DNS - DHCP - VPNs - Exchange - VoIP (SIP) - SQL Server Administration Your ability to perform basic administrative tasks in the above technologies will be a huge plus (Exchange, SQL, DNS, ActiveDirectory, etc).
