Tomato Plant Order Form 2012
Please type the quantity you would like to order for each plant! Plants may be picked up after May 15th, Pick-up will be "on the farm" in the W. 7th neighborhood of St. Paul. Delivery is possible for larger orders, if pre-arranged, to nearby locations. Contact me at sunflowerurbanfarms@gmail.com if you would like to arrange for delivery. You can expect plants to at least 6 inches tall, but likely taller. We transplant up several times, so plants have healthy root systems. We grow completely organically and utilize our urban hoophouse, so plants are ready to go in the ground as soon as you get them!

Aunt Ruby's German Green ($3.00 ea)
Huge 1 pound fruit that ripens to a pale greenish-yellow ("lime jello green") with a slight pink blush that extends to the inside. Superb, fruity sweet and slightly spicy taste.  Great for fresh eating or salsa!
Mariana's Peace ($3.00 ea)
One of my favorites! Huge pink heirloom tomato that originated in Czechoslovakia. 1-2 lb., pink beefsteak tomatoes. Dense, creamy, sweet flesh with rich complex flavors So delicious!.
Italian Seed Saver's ($3.00 ea)
Beautiful, huge heirloom from Italy. Plants are loaded with fruits  weighing over a pound. Excellent full tomato flavor.
Omar's Lebaese ($3.00 ea)
A huge pink beefsteak tomato: fruits typically weigh 1 to 1-1/2 pounds;  it has a multidimensional sweet flavor expressed best in northern areas.
Gold Medal ($3.00 ea)
“The sweetest tomato you ever tasted. The yellow with streaks of red makes them very attractive and a gourmet’s joy when sliced.” One of the finest bi-colored tomato—orange-yellow splashed with tomato pink. Winner of the 2008 SSE Tomato Tasting.
Trophy ($3.00 ea)
Sweet 5-7 oz tomatoes ideal for slicing. Introduced in 1870 and sold for five dollars per packet ($80 today). Gardeners paid the exhorbitant price hoping to win the $100 grand prize at the local fair.
Jaune Flamme ($3.00)
Early crops of apricot-colored 4 ounce fruits. Excellent fruity flavor with a perfect blend of sweet and tart. Great for drying or roasting, retains deep orange color. Commercialized in France.
Green Zebra ($3.00 ea)
Another chef's favorite for fresh eating, the 2-inch round fruit ripens to a yellow-gold with dark-green zebra-like stripes. The flesh is lime-emerald with an invigorating lemon-lime flavor.
San Marzano ($3.00 ea)
A plum tomato considered by chefs to be the best sauce tomato in the world. low in sugar and acid, which gives it superior flavor when cooked.
Speckled Roman ($3.00 ea)
Compact, indeterminate, regular-leaf tomato plants that have a high yield of very intriguingly beautiful, meaty, 4-6-inch long, orange-red paste tomato with good flavors and wavy yellow stripes. Looks like a fat sausage with a pointed end. Makes a delicious tomato sauce and is awesome in salads..
Brandywine ($3.00 ea)
A favorite of chefs and tomato lovers, it is legendary for its exceptionally rich, succulent tomato flavor. Fruits are reddish-pink, with light, creamy flesh that average 12 ounces but can grow to 2 pounds.
Paul Robeson ($3.00 ea)
Russian heirloom seeds, a favorite of tomato-lovers everywhere. This "black" beefsteak tomato is slightly flattened, round, and grows to 4-inches. Its deep, rich colors stand it apart from others, a dusky, dark-red, with dark-green shoulders, and red flesh in its center. Very flavorful fruits with luscious,  earthy, exotic flavors and good acid/sweet balance.
Wapsipinicon Peach ($3.00 ea)
Regular-leaf wispy, tomato plants that yield a tremendous amount of 1 1/2 to 2-inch, delicate, fuzzy-like-a-peach, pale-yellow (with a tinges of pink), juicy, tomatoes with wonderful, slightly-spicy, very fruity-sweet flavors.
Nyagous ($3.00 ea)
A prolific, rare, Russian tomato variety.  Beautiful, smooth, round, "black" tomatoes that are dark mohagany with dark grey-green shoulders. Nyagous is a wonderfully firm and blemish-free, 6 oz. tomato with lots of sweet, complex fruit flavors and a clean acidic finish.
Hillbilly Potato Leaf ($3.00 ea)
Absolutely gorgeous bicolor beefsteak tomato, great for slicing. Beautiful yellow 1 pound fruits are streaked with red on the blossom end. Sweet and juicy.
Sungold Cherry (F1 Hybrid) ($3.00 ea)
The only hybrid I offer, but only because it is unsurpassed in flavor and sweetness. When you taste the sweet-tart flavor you'll know why. The beautiful golden-orange fruits are borne in large clusters. The kids will LOVE these!
Pantano Romanesco
Italian tomato; indeterminate, highly productive plants yield 12 oz., brilliant-red, slightly-ribbed tomatoes with meaty interiors bursting with wonderful, rich, complex, tomato flavors. Great for cooking, canning and fresh eating.
