Youth & Scout Self Guided Program Registration

Self-guided Youth and Scout Field Trips are available throughout the year. Options include: o Self-guided in the Children’s Garden o Self-guided in the Arboretum (you tell us your meeting location) o Self-guided on the West Side using reserved backpacks provided by the Arboretum Self-guided Program Times: o Times vary based on the needs of the group o Monday – Sunday; The Children’s Garden is open until 5 pm through October and until 4 pm during the winter o Backpacks may be reserved Monday – Saturday between 9 am – 5 pm Fees: o $105 minimum - (includes up to 15 scouts and 4 chaperones, and a $15 non-refundable registration fee) o Additional students are $6 each o Additional chaperones are $12 each o Patches are available for purchase at time of registration and cost $4.00 each (backpack programs only - general Arboretum patches are available at the Arboretum gift shop) o There are no refunds for cancellations made less than 2 weeks in advance. General Information: o Payment is due two weeks prior to program date. No refunds for absent youths. o There are no refunds for cancellations made less than 2 weeks in advance. o Self-guided programs are outdoors; dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. o Programs are not cancelled and no refunds are given due to inclement weather such as wind, rain, cold or heat.
