AMC-8 Registration - January 22, 2025 contest at UNC Chapel Hill
Use this form to register to take the American Mathematics Competition - 8 (AMC-8) at UNC-Chapel Hill on Wednesday, January 22, 2024 at 6:30 pm in Phillips Hall on UNC Campus (room number will be posted here: https://lindagreen.web.unc.edu/math-contests/amc-8/).

The AMC-8 is a 25 question, 40 minute multiple choice examination in middle school mathematics containing challenging and interesting problems.  Students across the United States and Canada take this contest every year.  Any students in grade 8 and below can participate. Calculators are not allowed.

There is no required fee to take the contest at UNC-Chapel Hill; however, a $10 donation to the math department is suggested to help cover the cost of contest materials. Donations can be made at: https://give.unc.edu/donate?p=MATH or in person by cash or check made out to UNC Math Department.

You will receive details by email about 1 week before the contest.
