Just Food Conference 2013: Group Scholarship Application
Just Food is a non-profit organization that connects communities and regional farms with the resources and support they need to make fresh, locally grown food accessible to all New Yorkers. Just Food provides regional farmers and food producers, CSA organizers and everyday eaters with the resources and support they need to establish and experience healthy food systems—in every neighborhood.
Just Food Conference 2013
Just Food’s annual two-day conference brings together local food lovers and food justice advocates, CSA members, community gardeners, urban and rural farmers, food professionals, students and entrepreneurs for hands-on workshops, discussions, skills-building sessions, and good food. The conference focuses on cooking and food preservation techniques, CSA trends, and the food justice movement in NYC and beyond, as well as ways to create and support good food projects in local communities. The Just Food Conference will be held Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30. Based on attendance levels at past Just Food conferences, we project that the 2013 conference will attract 2,000+ participants.
