Small Area Plan Public Comment Form for Maryland Avenue SW Draft Plan

This form is for submission of public comments on the Draft Maryland Avenue SW Plan Small Area Plan (“the Draft Plan”). The Draft Plan was created through a participatory public process that began in January, 2011. The Draft Plan was released for a 30 day public comment period on December 16, 2011. Copies of the Draft Plan are available online at the Office of Planning Website and at the following public locations: DC Office of Planning, National Capital Planning Commission, Martin Luther King Jr. Library, Southwest Neighborhood Library. The purpose of the public comment period is to receive input from the public on the Draft Plan prior to its submission to the District of Columbia Council for approval. Following the conclusion of the public comment period, the Office of Planning will evaluate each comment, provide a response, and indicate whether changes will be made to the draft as a result of the comment. This information will be captured in a public comment digest that is posted to the Office of Planning website. A final plan that has been revised based on public and agency comments will be submitted to the District of Columbia Council for approval. Once submitted, the Council can not make any changes to the plan.
