The robed man that you saw preaching by the fountain has taken a seat next to you. His robes are filthy with dust kicked up by a day spent speaking amongst the city's commerce. The hood that had previously obscured the mans head now rests on his back and you can see he is a man in his late thirties with gray hair and more worry lines than most. He turns and looks at you with disarming brown eyes and speaks.
"I can see it on you."
Oh great. It's one of those preachers. You take a long sip of your gimlet while you decide how to handle this.
