Launch ME is a community event to celebrate the incredible work of young leaders like you around the state, help you raise money for your projects and raise funds dinero for the Maine League of Young Voters Education Fund (Young Voters).

What types of projects are we looking for? The simple answer is ALL KINDS! We want to hear your original answer to the question: “How are you making Maine a better place for young people?” Is it an art project? Class? New business idea? Gathering or event? Video project? Whatever! Bring it on!

Additional Application Requirements *
3 to 5 pictures of similar sizes (no smaller than 50x50 and no larger than 100x100)   AND/OR a 3 to 5 minute video that illustrates your project idea and how it will make Maine a better place. You may submit your video or digital images on a CD or via email. Please label your CD and/or photos with your name and title of your project.   URLs for videos can be submitted in the "other" box

Your project name and materials will be used on the League’s website and during the giving party, which will increase the visibility of your idea to the community.    If you are selected as a finalist, the League will cover transportation, for your trip to Portland to participate in the event, and will help find you lodging.  You will be provided a table to creatively promote your idea with an opportunity to raise additional money during the festivities.    Any additional application materials such as documentation of previous personal projects, brochures, publications, additional photos, reports, etc. are encouraged.    Any hard copy submission materials will not be returned.   By signing below I acknowledge that the League will be using my idea and project materials to promote the event.  All ideas and materials I have provided as part of this application are my own, original, or original sources are acknowledged in writing and included with my application materials.
