Alternative Weekends Lead Team and Site Leader Application 2013-2014.
Alternative Weekends is a student-run, service-learning organization. We address social justice issues through both community service and through issue education. Alternative Weekends participates in community service one Friday night and Saturday each month at sites located in Michigan and surrounding states. Participants and site leaders return to the same site each month to build meaningful relationships with other participants and the community and to gain valuable insight into a social justice issue and potential ways to solve it.
