Convention Assistance Application for Unaffiliated Journalists

As part of the 2012 UNITY Convention Assistance Program, UNITY Journalists is offering support, covering registration and hotel stay, to assist unemployed and/or underemployed journalists to attend the UNITY 2012 Convention: Media Expo & Career Fair in Las Vegas, NV, August 1-4, 2012.

This application is for journalists who are not affiliated with any of the current UNITY alliance organizations. Priority will be given to those journalists who have been laid off within the last 18 months and/or can demonstrate the greatest financial need.

If granted, your assistance will include the following:
- Registration Fee Waiver
- Hotel stay at host hotel(s) for a maximum of up to four
(4) nights, double occupancy is required.

Those who receive aid and don't attend the UNITY Convention will be charged the value of the assistance granted and any cancellation fees incurred. UNITY will NOT cover travel expenses.
