Health and safety
Making soaps and related products involves the use of potentially hazardous chemicals, harmless oils and natural compounds as well as some cosmetic ingredients. Chemical reactions take place during the manufacturing process that renders the final products perfectly safe. Whilst these products are not harmful if handled and used correctly, Sodium and Potassium Hydroxide (used in soap making workshops) are corrosive and alkali and adequate precautions must be taken because of the possibility of physical harm if miss used.
Puro Soaps courses involve working with the products indicated above and while course tutors educate participants on best practice, correct handling procedures and provide safety and precautionary advice, the client assumes all personal risk and liability for their own welfare. By booking a Puro Soap course the participant agrees to take full personal responsibility for any accident/injury that may be sustained while attending the workshop, waiving any liability whatsoever from Puro Soaps and indemnifying Puro Soaps and/or any of its staff fully against any and all losses that may result from any legal action that may follow any accident or injury sustained whilst attending a Puro Soaps course. Acceptance of the booking confirmation indicates acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
