1. All fees must be paid at the Member Services Centre before the first lesson of the course commences.

2. Confirmation of places will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and upon receipt of payment.

3. The Participant will be liable for any damages or loss to the YMCA of Singapore arising from negligence on the part of the Participant.

4. Participants with a history of serious illness, are unfit or unsure of the status of their health should obtain medical clearance before joining any exercise activity.

5. The Participants shall adhere to the above rules and regulations as stipulated, and comply with the directions of the Organiser.

6. The Association reserves the right to cancel or change the date and time of the course.

7. The Association will not be responsible for, nor will it be required to compensate, for the cost of any loss, damage or injury caused to the participant at the premises of the YMCA of Singapore.

8. There will not be a replacement class for any missed lesson.

9. Grounds for refunds:
    • In the event of cancellation of programme by the Association.
    • In the event that the course start date is postponed by one month or more.
    • Medical reasons: a valid medical certificate, the original receipt and a written letter of withdrawal is required to claim a refund on medical grounds, less administration charge of 10% plus GST of the course fees.

10. Classes will not be conducted on Public Holidays, New Year’s Eve, Chinese New Year’s Eve and Christmas Eve.

11. The YMCA of Singapore reserves the right to add, amend, waive, cancel and/or suspend any of the rules and regulations without prior notice.
