Bambino Bazaar Workshop Series - KENMORE Application Form
Brisbane City Council and Pineapple Productions present Bambino Bazaar - a 10-week program for junior creative entrepreneurs to learn the basics of small business culminating in running their own market stall. Designed for 8-12 year olds, this series of workshops is coming to Kenmore from 12 October to 14 December 2011 Kenmore.
Bambino Bazaar workshops aim to:
- Provide opportunities for children to discover and explore their talents, dreams and abilities
- Assist participants to understand the basic principles of small business
- Improve participants’ self-confidence, self-respect and respect for others
- Inspire participants to engage in creative activities and enterprise on a regular basis
- Raise awareness of sustainable business practice
Workshops will be held within a safe, fun, creative environment led by a dynamic facilitator to promote creative thinking and independent decision making. A host of special guests including local business owners will join the workshops to mentor participants with their chosen craft.
PLEASE NOTE: Submitting an application form does not guarantee a place. Each course is limited to 12 participants. Join our e-news database to ensure you are informed of future courses. Applications will be assessed on the following criteria:
- Commitment to product idea
- Demonstrated art/craft skill level (or passion for art/craft)
- Quality of art/craft example
- Variety of art/craft forms accepted to each course
- Minimum level of literacy and numeracy required
Notification of acceptance or non-acceptance to the program will be sent by email. Course commences on Wed 12 October at Kenmore Library.
