Graduate students are invited to attend a workshop on the basics of grant writing being offered by Liz Demski, Associate Vice President for the Office of Research and Creative Scholarship.

This workshop is geared to novice grant writers who are interested in preparing grant applications to external funding organizations (i.e. foundations or government agencies) to support academic projects or research. This does not involve any grants related to financial aid.

As a result of participating in the workshop you will:

* Have a good understanding of the resources available to assist you.
* Understand the fundamentals of the grant process.
* Be introduced to the basics of writing successful grant proposals.
