Our friend, Keith Peck Zhi Yi, is missing, and we would like to consolidate help so that the search may continue past Friday, 30 September 2011 -- the day that the Malaysian authorities concluded the rescue mission.

The boat that Keith was on capsized in the waters around Pulau Aur, off Mersing, Johor, on Saturday, 24 September 2011. As he was wearing a life jacket, media reports have suggested that Keith stands a good chance of survival. This will, however, change if efforts to locate him are called off indefinitely.

To direct more resources into the search, Keith's family members have started a fund that would give any party a financial reward if they should bring Keith back alive. The hope is to spur surrounding residents and other independent parties to continue with the search.

Parts of the fund may also be channelled towards the production and distribution of materials that might help in the search.
