Plot Notes Team Style - 9th
Directions:
1. Sit with a partner.  Open a Google Doc.  In it, copy and paste the following terms.

---chronological order
---flashback
---foreshadowing
2.  With your partner's help, spend five minutes trying to remember the definition to each word.  Type what you remember.

3.  Next, organize yourselves to take notes on the same document.  Assign a role to each member of your group.
---Explainer: Explains the content of each slide; this should be someone who understands plot
---Typist: Types notes in Google Docs and shares them with the group when finished.

2. View, discuss, and record the plot notes from the slide show (https://docs.google.com/present/view?id=dhmzkwx9_687hsgphng4).  Title your notes "Plot Notes 9."

3. Complete the form when you are finished.  Complete one form per team.  

Team Rubric:
Above Grade Level:  Directions were completely followed.  All group members were completely on-task and eagerly participated.  Everyone was helpful and respectful to one another during the entire session.  All group members were present for the entire session.  During the entire lesson, the teacher could hear and see you orally explaining the notes and typing notes based on what was said.
