When investors just base on some representative information or recent experience to make decision and skip out the fundamental analysis of stock. Example: you believe the advice from some stock experts, securities companies is good and follow to make decision , or investors think stocks are rising in recent terms will continue to rise in future…ect.

regret is an emotion of pain and a when investor find that they have made a bad decision in the past and realize that they could have taken one with better outcome. Regret often leads to regret aversion, which make investors have different reaction on their decision making. Example investors tend to keep losing stocks to avoid regret emotion.

Refers to the difference level of mental penalty people have from a similar size loss or gain. Loss aversion can lead to investors become risk averse to avoid loss such as quickly sell rising price stock to realize gain, investor also show the worries in bear market and avoid risky investment such as buying penny stock…In contrast, myopic loss aversion can make investors to be more willing to take risk to compensate their loss in past.

After a prior loss, you are more risk taking than usual.
When the price drops temporarily, you will sell the stock to prevent from getting more losses..
you worry in bear market and don’t want to take high risk although high risk bring high return.
Confidence *
Different level of confident can affect to how investors make decision, due the investors who have high level of confidence (acquired many success in past, or believe they have knowledge, skills) tend to trading more frequently, high level of risk accept and believe in their own decision. In contrast, under-confidence investors, their decision can be easily interacted by different factors on market.
