Vanderbilt University Tour
1–3:15 p.m.
The campus tour of Vanderbilt will feature a mix of prominent historic parts of campus and innovative contemporary spaces. The tour will commence at the Kirkland Esplanade and focus on E. Bronson Ingram College – Vanderbilt’s newest residential college set to open in Fall 2018. Vanderbilt is in the midst of its largest-ever capital project, which will replace aging residence halls with innovative residential colleges that will transform West End and support the university’s vision to shape the leaders of tomorrow. The tour will also feature The Wond’ry, the epicenter for innovation and entrepreneurship at Vanderbilt. Its three story, 13,000-square foot space, located adjacent to the new state-of-the-art Engineering and Science Building, facilitates collaboration between students and faculty from all schools, levels, and disciplines. Other highlights include The Martha Ingram Rivers Commons and The Jean and Alexander Heard Library.
This is an off-site walking tour and requires a moderate level of activity and exertion.
Below are a few things to note:
1.) The tour is limited to 50 participants and lasts approximately 2.5 hours with travel time
2.) Sign ups will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. This online form is your official sign up page.
3.) Groups leave at 1 p.m. EDT from the Sheraton hotel lobby
4.) You must be registered to attend the summit to participate on the tour.
