15AClear2D12433o3000-1Want to see Paysinger a little more aggressive setting the edge to either make this play, force it back inside to Herzlich, or at the very least force Rice to bounce it deeper to get to the outside

.

15AClear3D13136o14-1-1Bad angles by both guys

15AClear7D111040n5-1000I like how quickly Blackburn reads the play. Tells me his eyes are on the guard and not in the backfield, where he has gotten caught in the past, but he is a backside A gap player here and needs to stack behind the defensive tackle. This is his play and he completely overruns it.

.

15AClear8D12535n18-1-1-1Herzlich is coming here and he times the blitz nicely finding himself in great position to make the play. A missed tackle by Herzlich, a missed tackle by Paysinger, and a bad angle by Blackburn later and we have an 18 yard gain. Horrendous.

15AClear13D1255n-10100First positive play of the day from this group. Good, downhill play from Herzlich.

.

15AClear14D1366n600Blitz wont get there in 3 step. Nothing we can do.

.

15AClear15D111047n30001Better job on the edge by Paysinger. Forces the back to cut it up inside and folds back in the make the play once the threat of Rice bouncing it is no longer there.

15AClear19D111028o00-100Second time he has missed a potential TFL. It is hard to tell if he is hesitating a little when running these windows or simply is not athletic enough to make these plays, but it is happening too often.

15AClear23D211012o110000Paysinger can definitely expand a little quicker here to the flat with no curl threat in Cover 3

.

15AClear24D211023o2-1000This is inside zone all the way. The only excuse for Blackburn to be caught with his eyes on the H back coming across the formation here is if he is man on him, which certainly does not appear to be the case.

.

15AClear25D22825o120000Not enough for a negative, but Blackburn and Herzlich fooled by play action when oline is clearly giving high hat reads. Herzlich looks completely lost and Blackburn takes way to long to find the crossing route as a result.

.

15AClear26D211037o50-100This one is clear the result of some hesitation. If Herzlich wants to play downhill like this and make impact plays, he has to commit. Otherwise, he needs to play these more over the top. When he "just doesn’t quite get there" he is only taking himself out of the play.

.

15AClear27D22542o190000Looks like we had a twister stunt on between Herzlich and Blackburn. Not on them They just caught us here.

15AClear30D231948n390-10Notice where Boley is and where Tracy is when the ball is caught. They both get in on this tackle. Difference is Boley assumed the play was going to be made and slowed down, while Tracy ran hard the entire way. Embarrassing for a starting LB to be giving this type of effort.

15AClear34D211024o21-10-1-1Being the only person who doesn’t stop running when the ball is caught eanrs Herzlich a 0 because that that is what youre supposed to do. This is something that has been bother me over the last few weeks, but when youre getting your asses kicked in a game like this and guys still arent giving 100% effort, something needs to be said.

15AClear40D22527n270-2A -2 because it turns into a touchdown. Boley is man on Rice here. Granted not an easy task, but his technique is what gets him beat for 6. He needs to play this inside out, meaning he should be inside of Rice denying entry to the middle of the field. It is much easier to react if Rice turns this into a slide or wheel route, but Boley gets beat on the Texas route which turns into a 30 yard touch.
