The myth of Unlimited"at this time our Truly Unlimited Data feature cannot be added in conjunction with the Mobile Hotspot service. The reasoning behind this is that we are primarily a cell phone provider, and are not looking to move into an ISP capacity by providing unlimited data for multiple devices. "

JHHey, I just wanted to give you a heads up on Shifty Jelly's Pocket Cast V4 update. It should be live on the Play Store in about 2 hours so hopefully just in time for your show. If Jason remembers I told him I was going to be making a PodCasting/Twit app after my current project, after seeing this v4 update to Pocket Cast I might not need too anymore

hahaha

Check it out, it looks really promising and helping support indie devs is always a plus! just like me :-)
Jossay Jacobo
http://www.androidcentral.com/pocket-casts-4It's COMPLETELY redesigned and now includes a very saught after feature: Cross device syncing. Also, tablet support (finally!)

[1] Google Play Services 3.0 was announced this morning. This enables some cool things like G+ sign-in for sites, similar to Facebook connect. Also enabled is the ability to embed a Google Play link into your site to allow for instant install of an app without leaving the site. TNT Notes: - Google+ Sign-In is Goog's answer to FB Connect - login for websites and mobile apps to port over some g+ info. tell site or app what it's allowed to access, choose what friends/circles are shared with, "private" setting available, - system works with Google's two-factor authentication. - passive sharing (what music i'm listening to) doesn't show up on friends' feeds, but they can see it if they view my profile & have permission to see it. goog says less spammy this way - Active sharing is direct post to the Google+ feed of the person you've reached out to. Google calls this "interactive sharing." post appears as stylized card with a call to action — like a "buy" button if you're sharing an item from a commerce site, or a "listen" button if you're sharing a song. - when users share a negative review of a product from Beautylish (g+ sign-in launch partner), the card simply presents the review. When a positive review is shared, however, it triggers an "add to cart" button that lets people start the purchase process right away.
[2] This app is filed under “Google Play services” in your settings menu
[3] TNT notes: "- WSJ reports Google's getting nervous about Samsung's dominance in Android - Specifically, Google execs fear that since Samsung sells about 40% of Android devices, it could use that as leverage to renegotiate Samsung and Google's deal to eat into Google's mobile-ad business - Samsung in the past has received more than 10% of Google online-advertising revenue generated from its Web-search engine, acc'g to the Journal's sources Rubin talking at MWC - “There’s one big company that’s being hugely successful,” Rubin said in a roundtable with reporters at Mobile World Congress on Tuesday. “That’s mostly about execution. It’s not mostly around Android.” - “Should I be unfair to Samsung? I can’t do that. I have to be fair to everyone.”
[4] “There’s one big company that’s being hugely successful. That’s mostly about execution. It’s not mostly around Android.”
[5] “Google has no plans and we have nothing to announce,”
[6] May 15-17, 2013 at Moscone Center West in San Francisco General attendee pricing $900 and student tickets fetching $300. 90 days to sell out I/O 2009 50 days to sell out I/O 2010 59 minutes to sell out I/O in 2011 20 minutes to sell out I/O in 2012
[7] 1.6GHz Exynos 4 Quad core, 2GB RAM, up to 32GB storage, microSD slot, 1280 x 800 display (189ppi), HSPA+ 21, 4600mAh, Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 Phone capability with HSPA+ global, LTE and WiFi versions in the works. Only Wifi model coming to the US. No pricing or availability aside from a Q2 global launch.
[8] 7" tablet with 3G data and voice using new Intel ATOM processor. 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, and sit under a 7-inch 1280 x 800 display with 10-point multitouch. UK late Q2 2013 starting at £179. The FonePad will be available in Europe for £179 / €219. Here at MWC, ASUS also confirmed a US dollar price of $249, though we had heard rumblings it wouldn't actually be sold there. It arrives in March, but the specific on-sale date hasn't been revealed yet.
[9] 5-inch 1080P display, quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32/64GB of storage and 13MP camera, all in a unibody aluminum frame. On the connectivity front, it has both 100mbps LTE and 42mbps HSPA+ radios and supports the latest 802.11ac Wifi. One major point of this device is that it's also running Android 4.2 Infinity still docks into a 10.1-inch tablet frame called the "Infinity Station". The station has a 1920x1200 Super IPS display, with the same 400 nit brightness as the phone itself. The station also has its own 5000mAh battery, alongside the phone's own 2400mAh lithium polymer cell. U.K. at an MSRP of £799
[10] 7" display @ 1024 x 600, 1.6 GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB storage, microSD slot. 3MP RFC, VGA FFC, Beats Audio, running stock Android 4.1 JB No NFC/GPS $169 in April
[11] Falcon Pro, a much discussed Twitter client on the show and the Droidisphere, hit the 100L user token limit with Twitter, stopping it dead in its tracks for garnering new users. They quickly set up a petition to ask Twitter to reconsider. Twitter hit back saying the app offers no functionality already offered within the official app and denied the extension request.
[12] What's in this version: *Adds Gina Trapani *Fixes Daylight Savings Time *Now enter's "showtime" mode if countdown is open before it's time for AAA *Adds "calculations"
