The following guidelines were discussed at the Outdoor Practice meeting and approved by Club Sports Leaders of Clubs who use Sheakley Lawn.

.

Scheduling Guidelines

.

1. Space will be distributed 1-2 weeks prior to the fall semester for fall practices and at the end of fall semester for spring semester.

.

2. At the meetings, clubs are expected to bring their practice conflicts, needs, and club's availability.

.

3. Efforts will be made to meet the club's needs; however, due to the lack of space and the amount of clubs all clubs may only receive the amount of practice slots per week divided by the # of clubs.

.

4. Each club should provide a gmail account at the practice meeting. The practice document will be shared and clubs should make every effort to update their practice schedule on the google doc by noon the day of practice (if cancelling).

.

5. Open Practice Slots are available to clubs and clubs are able to write in their club name on the google doc. If more than 3 or more practice spots open up, the Program Coordinator will email the Outdoor clubs and divide the open practices evenly among interested clubs.

.

6. First year clubs are able to schedule during open times. If clubs move from conditional to recreational, they are then able to attend the meeting and schedule a regular practice time. (Voted on Spring 2012)

.

.

Use of Space Guidelines

.

1. A sign will be distributed to each club at the beginning of the semester to use at practices notifying others that the space is reserved by Club Sports. Please hand these in at the end of the year.

.

2. If only one scheduled club sport organization is using the space, please make room for informal players or a club who arrives during the practice time.

.

3. Club Sports has priority scheduling during this time. Please make every effort to make the online schedule as accurate as possible.

.

.

Guidelines - main competitive season for sports is fall for soccer and rugby and spring for baseball, ultimate frisbee, and lacrosse.

.

.

Soccer Goals and Guidelines

.

These are guidelines for the 1 shared goal between Intramurals and Club Sports.

.

.

Use of goals on Sheakley Lawn: The clubs would move 1 goal to Sheakley if sharing the field and two goals to Sheakley if not sharing the field. They will flip and carry the goals through the gate on Gettler.

.

.

Use of goals on Gettler: Club have use of the goals on game days (and at times in the schedule below) on Gettler and Nippert if possible to move to the space when open.

.

.

50 yard field: Clubs would not transport goals to the 50 yard field to use.

If the goals are moved off of Gettler for practice, during an Intramural night they should be moved back on Gettler by 6:45pm. Make sure to lock the Gettler gate back, if you unlock. Athletics games and practices take priority, so if any are scheduled during the times listed there is no club sport or intramural sport activity on the field. If unforeseen conflicts arise, let the Club Sports Program Coordinator know.

.

.

At the beginning of each year, a representative from both the men's and women's soccer clubs will recieve a key to the goals (RA35) and a key to the Gettler gate. These keys must be turned in at the end of the spring semester. The Club Sports Program Coordinator received the RA35 key and the other key is turned in at Edwards One (Parking and ID Services).
