6/17/2013 16:47:28jebroRuby-on-Rails, Javascript/Coffee~ 4 yearsI'd like to learn more on TDD/BDD and Agile methodologies & tools, whatever the project is.

If there's nothing else to work on maybe we could do a little more work on that simple mailing app I'm building in my spare time for my local CSA.

I'm in web development more than 10 years so I have some javascript experience, but I'm not very experienced.
I have no experience with backbone.js
I would like to learn more javascript, Backbone.js, websockets etc. But I don't have any specific task in mind.
Also it will be pleasure for me if I can help to someone with Django.

6/18/2013 3:43:23ModulomJavascript (Backbone.js or others libraries eventually)5 years with JS, but not in a really in a OOP way (with Prototype.js mostelly), 6 months with jQuery, less than 6 months with Backbone. Try a lots of technologies since 10 years on the web (php, asp, as, ...), maybe to much.I want to contribute or see persons contribute to a project so I can really improve my general coding skills :
- architecture (how make code structure and organisation scalable and modular)
- mobile (how to make JS / CSS / Html5 code who works well on mobile and cross-browser)
- I want to try a server side code (ruby or node, don't know)

My principal purpose is to (try to) get from generalist web designer / integrator, to a real JS developer.

I would like to work on seeing the fundamentals in practice. I am a quick learner when I am learning contextually and I am keen to learn from the experienced programmers in the group. 6/18/2013 7:22:57waleRuby on Rails7 months of Ruby on Rails, 12 years coding in other languages.I am open to any project. I looked at LocalSupport project documentation during the week and I have some interest. It's being run by Sam Joseph.

Personally I am working on redesigning the UI for my website. I can also work on that with anyone that wants to help especially if they have UI, CSS, and Design and Graphics skills. The staging environment is at http://netcool.herokuapp.com/ and the source code is on github. The entire project is Ruby on Rails, but for the UI I am just doing HTML 5 and CSS.

7/2/2013 11:04:12arad000PHP, LAMP stack, using a RESTful API (kiva developer API http://build.kiva.org/ - a platform for microfinance). I'm open to implementing some javascript features. I'm familiar with and have had experience with the Java/JavaScript stack and really just trying to broaden my abilities. beginning experience with all of the above - this is a learning exercise for me! I've had ~5 years experience with Java/JavaScript and am trying to learn new things. My side project is to learn more about the LAMP stack, so I'm working with the Kiva Developer API to build a basic app which will populate a grid of data based on user input search queries. Would like to style it well, perhaps using twitter bootstarap/Flat UI.arthi.rad@gmail.com

7/2/2013 18:00:26RodyI am interested in technologies like: Visual Studio 2010 –Asp.net with VB/C#, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript,MVC, Drupal 7beginner MVC framework, Drupal 7, same experience with the other technologiesThe project it’s supposed to have the following functionality:
1. Monitoring/listening the activity of Outlook and grab the attachment (.Zip file for a specific email address like a parameter) and place it on the server, and create the Server Folder(s) Structure like CompanyName->WeekNo->Zip file ( I am thinking to have a service that runs on the server). The service can use any software support
2. One of interface has one button for uploading the latest zip file for that company and the week specified, and sending the email
The next step is using this hierarchy folder-files structure ( the company , weekNo. would be selected from the previous screen)
There could be more than one zip file for one company for a specific week ( and would be considered for uploading the latest one)
The server is Windows Server 2008
Thank you, and I am looking forward for your response
