Methodology:

BasicsRecord the following tests, then analyse the video using an editor (I used AviDemux). Each video frame = 0.033s. For timings frame-step to a change in speed, then go back one to the start speed. Mark it, then frame step forwards until you're at the target end speed, and mark that. When performing tests use keyboard when possible: binary input is more consistent than analog.

Level flight, no afterburner Hover craft level at 0kph (using slight vertical thrust). Accelerate using max main throttle only. From top speed, decelerate using max brake only.

Level flight with afterburner Hover craft level at 0kph (using slight vertical thrust). Accelerate using max main throttle and afterburner. From top speed, decelerate using max brake only. When analyzing video watch for the speed bottoming out: it won't get to zero as you'll be falling. For me it happened at 19 or 18 (or 16 for Hover). Try to trigger afterburner instantly: works for consistent timing, but means a lot is wasted vertically before the nozels rotate. Note that slight variance in trigger time will probably affect results a lot, and means this test is the least reliable of the bunch (along with the other AB test)

Ascend (straight up) Land on pad in warp gate, level craft, then hit max vertical thrust.

Descend (straight down) Once you're at top speed in above test, hit max vertical descend. Time is time from max upward speed to max downward speed.

Yaw time (pillar-to-pillar)Land in the middle of the warp gate (on the massive glowing pad, and then look at one of the pillars. There's a niche cut in the pillar, with a spike, about half way up: Ascend vertically and aim straight at the peak of that spike, have the craft completely level, and then cut all controls except full-right yaw. Time how long it is until you get to the center of the next pillar.
