[1] WELCOME TO OUR COMPUTER LAB SCHEDULE! This schedule was created to provide teachers with a "working schedule" that can be updated on the campus network from each classroom. You now have the ability to check the computer lab schedule and change, add, or remove your name to or from the desired time slot as the need arises. This minimizes the need to check with other teachers to "swap" time slots and rearrange conflicting scheduling! The following rules and procedures will be in place to ensure proper usage of this "shared" scheduling system: 1. Teachers having defined time slots will keep the schedule updated accurately. This means that if you are not going to use your time slot on any given day, remove your name as soon as you know that you will not be using the computer lab so others can check the schedule for time slot openings. PLEASE HONOR YOUR FELLOW COLLEAGUES BY UPDATING YOUR SCHEDULE CHANGES. 2. Teachers may only remove their own names from time slots. Teachers can type their own name in open time slots to reserve alternate or additional computer lab time. Remember, if your name is posted in any time slot, you are expected to have your class in the lab at the time reserved. 3. If you make a mistake and "destroy the schedule," simply exit the program and DON'T SAVE! No Problem! Reopen the schedule and try again or get help. 4. All weekly schedules are accessible by choosing the tab at the bottom with the appropriate dates. 5. Remember, this is a shared document. This means more than one person can look at the schedule at the same time! If two or more teachers open the schedule at the same time from different computers and try to type their names into the same "open time slot," the person to click "Save" first gets the desired change. The others will get a window that tells them there is a conflict. If you get the conflict message, you should always choose "Accept others" button.
