2 | This is a way of spreading ideas and getting help with launching ideas. So many ideas don't see the light of day because of lengthy processes required to get them seen. So many hackers sit in isolation, hammering out solutions, but the solutions remain nothing more than a brilliant idea on their computer, simply because they don't know how to get their ideas "out there!". This is a way of giving their ideas a voice, and in doing so, drawing the people and resources necessary to them to get something done. | 10/29/2011 11:46:20 | Peter | http://twitter.com/peterscheffer | Give a voice to hackers so that they will get the support they need to execute on their ideas. | spreading this form. | I've got this form out there, ready for public use. | Fill in this form and then spread the message. | I can pay in Karma. |

8 | 10/29/2011 14:04:43 | Stephen | stephen@coley.co | Help developers make their services more available to their target market and help business find relevant developers in their town. Essentially, it's a review site. A developer makes a profile, shares the link to all of his/her clients with hopes that the client will 'review' the developer with a star rating and a description of the professional relationship they had together. There will be two type of reviewers: anonymous reviewers and authenticated users(will be authenticated with twitter or facebook). The whole "aha!" idea to this project is that anonymous reviewers ratings only count for half of what they actually rated the developer and the authenticated reviewers will get full votes. Now I understand that this topic may be a bit touchy, especially considering the staggering amount of privacy issues happening on the web today. A lot of people won't like that their anonymous vote doesn't count for as much as an authenticated one. This too makes me feel a bit uneasy. Requiring an authenticated identity in order to get a full vote feels a bit like cheating, but it will help deter those just looking to bash competition or an old high school ex. The second third of the site will allow developers to embed an iframe that will display their 'badge' -- A widget that displays the developers average rating, tags, locations, as well as a link that clicks back to their profile that has all of their reviews. The last third of this site will provide visitors a way to find local developers that are capable of working with the required technologies. Not only can they find those devs based on tags and location, but also by good or bad reviews. I'm not a designer, so I'm currently using Twitter's Bootstrap. | weighing authenticated votes heavier than anonymous votes(is this ethical, right use of the web?), design, and just some help. I would love to work on this project WITH someone. If you like my idea(or don't) and are for looking for a project to dive into, come hangout and code with me! | Right now developers can sign up, and reviewers can leave reviews(currently all anonymous). The next steps are implementing OAuth to authenticate willing votes for FB and TW. 19 | 10/29/2011 16:59:36 | Yurij | yurij.gabassi@gmail.com | Solve the issue that most small hotels/hostels have around the world, online reservations and online presence. Basically, booking engines are either halfway horrible to use, or super expensive and supplied by few companies : sabre hospitality, travel click etc. I know theres a market out there (been working with hotels since 13..) for a cheap and efficient web app that allows users to just fill out property details and recieve a dedicated site, with a booking engine attached to it. Think magento go for hotels. Then just think of how awesome it will be that all these hotels are tied into the same database what awesome stuff we could build on that?
