Code the Change 02/09/13 Dance Marathon Code Jam Project Registration
Use this form to sign your organization's project for the 24 hour Code the Change Code Jam on February 9-10, 2013.  Computer scientists and designers will work with you to implement your project at the event.  For copyright information on code produced at Code Jams, go to https://codethechange.org/code-jam-copyright.

Project guidelines are available at http://codethechange.org/organizations/code-jams.  Please review them before filling out this form.

It is fine to provide a link to a Google Doc or other service and providing us a link to that rather than putting the information directly into this form.

We will try to get back to you confirming your participation, but feel free to email arodrig1@stanford.edu, joelkek@stanford.edu, or samking@cs.stanford.edu if you don't hear from us within two weeks of signing up.

Can you commit a technical person affiliated with your organization to help lead the project?
If so, please provide their name, email, and phone number.
Describe your organization. *
Use the third person. Ie, "Code the Change helps computer scientists use their skills for social change. They put on Code Jams for social change." This should be at least a few sentences and no longer than a paragraph.
Describe the project. *
What is your goal for it? How will this project help your organization's mission? What might the design look like? Talk us through as much of your vision as you can think of. Include deliverables. Detail is good.
Existing work on project *
What has already been done? What information (ie, logins, passwords, version control permissions) do we need to get started? It's fine for there to be no existing work.
Technical skills for programmers *
Programmers will use the information that you provide here to figure out if they will be able to contribute to your project with their skills. Thus, if you know a particular programming language, framework, or technology that would be helpful for your project, please let us know here. If your project has no existing infrastructure and any general web programming skills will work, then indicate that.
What is your timeline? How soon do you need it to be done? *
This will help set goals for the Code Jam, even if the project will definitely not be completed.
