Launch Call: "I was a stranger"
At the heart of why we at World Relief believe it is so important that we love, welcome, and seek just policies for refugees and other immigrants is our commitment to the authority of Scripture.  The Bible’s commands relating to the treatment of foreigners residing in the land are clear and repeated.  However, research suggests that very few American Christians actually think about immigration primarily through the lens of their faith.

On Thursday, November 29 at 1 PM Eastern Time, 10 AM Pacific (8 PM, 5 PM Pacific, in Spanish) World Relief, in partnership with the National Association of Evangelicals, the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, the Christian Community Development Association, the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, and others, is launching the I Was a Stranger… Challenge.
