Earth Day at Bloomsburg University 2012
This year there will be three different tours as part of the Earth Day Celebration. Two will be held on Thursday, April 19th.

The first on Thursday, on campus, will allow students to see the University's steam heat generating facility. Recently the plant was converted so that more than half of the heat there is generated using renewable energy sources instead of coal.

The other tour for Thursday will take students to the Bloomsburg Recycling Center where they will  see how waste materials from the University and surrounding community are processed so they can be sent out to be manufactured into new products.

On Friday, April 20th, Prof. Benjamin Franek will take students on a tour of local watersheds.

For more information see the descriptions of the tours below.
