This research will be used to help organizations to better understand why people are motivated to garden and what can be done to encourage more people to participate in programs to convert traditional lawns or paved areas into environmentally-friendly gardens.

Please answer all of the questions below to help us better understand the motivations for participants to convert conventional yards with grass or paved areas into environmentally-friendly gardens.

If you are an aspiring gardener, please answer the relevant questions below to help us better understand how we can help you to change your yard or paved area into an environmentally-friendly garden. You can answer "not applicable" when it does not apply to your situation.

The more feedback that we can get about why you participated in a garden program or would like to participate in some kind of program, the more that we can give advice on improving incentives and reaching more people.
