Shawn's Anomaly was created to show families that they are not alone and to connect them with others parents and families out there that can help them and are willing to help.

There are so many organizations out there that can offer assistance.  Because we want to try to utilize all available resources, our first priority is to connect parents with a partnering organizations that may already being doing something specifically for the child's condition.  Some organizations are dedicated specifically to certain surgeries or hospitals, but knowing where to find all the resources seems to be a very daunting challenge for parents who are currently undergoing a lot of stress.  

Shawn's Anomaly representatives assist these families by doing the research for them and help find as much assistance that can be provided. If there is a situation that the resources and outside organizations are limited, then we will create an in-house fundraising effort to help raise the money needed for treatments, surgeries, or co-pays that go above and beyond what insurance pays.
