BOYS: Pioneer (11-3) at Huron (7-5) *
With the exception of its Bedford loss, Pioneer is closing out close games against nearly everyone, and will likely have to do it again Friday. Pioneer, 63-59.
BOYS: Skyline (6-7) at Saline (8-6) *
Both of these teams come in on the upswing, with wins of 20 points or more in Tuesday’s crossover games, but Skyline’s athleticism should win out. Skyline, 64-58.
BOYS: Dexter (6-7) at Chelsea (3-10) *
This one went to overtime in the first matchup and is one of the toughest of this week’s picks. But Dexter appears to be the best of the rest in the SEC White. Dexter, 49-43.
BOYS: Ypsilanti (10-4) at Lincoln (6-8) *
The Phoenix should complete the season sweep here without too much trouble. Ypsilanti, 62-51.
GIRLS: Pioneer (8-7) at Huron (10-4), 5:30 p.m. Friday *
No one has been able to slow down Huron much lately, as the River Rats continue to roll. Huron, 52-41.
GIRLS: Dexter (14-2) at Chelsea (10-5), 5:30 p.m. Friday *
Which Chelsea team will show up? If I knew, I’d be more confident in this pick. But I’m pretty sure Dexter will be looking to get on track after Tuesday’s Huron loss. Dexter, 49-39.
GIRLS: Lincoln (11-5) at Ypsilanti (10-5), 5:30 p.m. Friday *
Lincoln won this matchup for the first time ever earlier this season. I don’t think the Phoenix want to let the Splitters start a streak. Ypsilanti, 51-47.
