The Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in Korea is one of the most unique and special attractions in the world. This 250-kilometer strip of land separates the Communist North Korea and the Free Capital South Korea. But there are more than economic and ideological differences.
We work with the Panmunjom Travel Center to do the DMZ tours. Actually, every tour company (including the USO) works with the city of Paju and the military to do the DMZ tours. No company can do private tours of the DMZ. The Panmunjom Travel Center has their pick-up at Lotte Hotel, in Myeongdong, Seoul Korea. Their office is on the 6th floor.

Due to the delicate nature of relations between North and South Korea, tours can be cancelled without notice. Times may be adjusted as well.

The tours they have available are:

The Panmunjom (JSA) Tour (Tues-Fri) 9:30am-4:30pm 77,000 won

Panmunjom / DMZ Combined Tour  (Tues-Fri) 7:30am-4:30pm 120,000 won

DMZ Special Tour with North Korean Defector (Tues- Sun) 9:00am-4:30pm 70,000 won

The 3rd Infiltration Tunnel Tour on the Western Front Line (Tues-Sun) 8:00am-2pm 60,000 won

The dress code for Panmunjom is as follows:  no ripped (worn or faded) jeans, no exercise clothes, no sleeveless shirts, no miniskirts, no casual sandals, no sandals without heal straps or slippers.

Cameras up to, but not exceeding 90mm are allowed.
 
Also, if you cancel the tour there is 100% cancellation charge on tour day and charge the day before the tour day.

So, if you’d like to cancel your reservation or something please let us know that until the 2 days before the tour day.
 
This tour has a fixed number of tourists per day. If you do not come without notice, you will have taken away a tour spot from someone that probably really wanted to go.

On your tour day, please arrive until 8:20am at the Lotte Hotel, 6th floor in Sogong-dong with your passport. The office name is PTC.

If you are traveling by subway, take subway line number 2 to Euljiro 1-Ga (Station NO. 202) and go out exit number 8.

If you are traveling by taxi say: Myeongdong Lotte Hotel Kajuseyo or show the driver this:  명동 롯데 호텔로 가주세요.
