Students will learn how to search both versions of the library catalogue to locate books, e-resources, curriculum materials, DVD's, etc. using keyword and subject searching. Advanced version will include features such as truncation, limits, citing and exporting.

Students will look at the issue of plagiarism and become familiar with the University's guidelines on academic integrity. The advanced session will also explore the issue of issue of academic integrity by looking at both intentional and unintentional plagiarism with some practice exercises to identify and correct patchwriting.

Students will learn the basics of formatting in-text and reference list citations. In the advanced session students would learn additional style rules such as paper format, proper representation of data, formulas, tables, figures, etc.
