September 2012 we have started a weekly hangout on China-related issues. (You find the results on the Youtube Channel for the China Speakers Bureau). Now, we want to discuss a few issues for 2013. What is the best timing? What kind of format works best. What kind of subjects are you missing? Who (including yourself) you would like to see in the hangouts?

Timing of the CWH *

Now we organize the CWH on 10pm Beijing Time, 3pm CET and 9am EST to cover most time zones. Should we stick to this timing?

Subjects CWH

In 2012 we covered a range of subjects: China's political future, US-China relations, energy security, sustainability, international aspirations and more. We want to stay close to current affairs, but appreciate also your input on subjects you would like to discuss

Format CWH

We have started with sessions of 45 minutes, but changed that a few times into three session of 10, 15 minutes to accommodate the short attention span of the viewers. What do you prefer

Who should we invite?

Hangouts allow a max of 9 participants. Mostly we have asked experts to discuss subjects, but we could include more participants than only the experts. What do you prefer?

I prefer to watch a debate between experts

I like to watch the experts, but want to have it public where others can ask questions and participate in the debate

I'm not interested in an expert debate, but would rather have public debates onlhy
