How are you involved in your local church?: I am in college and attend church there on those weekends I am not at home.  When I attend my hometown church - I read scriptures, help with communion and lead prayers during worship and devotionals.  I also help with the teenagers when I am able.

Budget: *
 Each individual is to come up with $750.  This is the cost of the airfare.  We will be renting a campground and buying groceries and cooking meals there.  The lodging and food cost is $250 which our church will most likely help to pay for.  We will also need extra money for when we are out to eat and other things that may arise.
How does this trip fit into your church’s vision, or the church with whom you are serving with? *
Our church supports 3 churches/preachers in Honduras. We financially help out one in South Israel. We also give a bit of money to Bob Miranda who is our interpreter.  We provide medical supplies/needs to all 3 congregations. We have also given school and bible class supplies to all 3 congregations.  In the past we have come up with teaching curriculum and given them. Most recently we have had the Fishers of men course translated in Spanish for them.
How will this trip be an extension or support the relationship already established with your church? *
We will be again visiting and working with all 3 congregations.  However, this time we will go to a 4th church and help to build the building and work with the locals in that area leading them to Christ through medical clinics and a children's vbs.
What will your responsibilities be on this trip and what have you done to prepare for this role? *
 I will most likely be helping with the construction of the church building and the vbs in the evenings. We have not had any specific meetings as of yet.
What will your daily schedule look like? *
It is not set yet. Most likely it will look like this. Breakfast, devotional, construction of building, supper, VBS, devotional, bed
Who will you be serving and/or directly working with? *
 We will be in surrounding towns of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. They are Spanish speaking. We will be working with men, women and children of all ages. They are mostly in extreme poverty.
What is faith of most of the population? *
The majority are Catholics. We will be working with church of Christ members and trying to get locals to come to the church.
What are the things you need to be aware of to be culturally sensitive? *
The language and what we say can be taken wrong. Also, we are not to promise anything. We have to be careful as they take you literal.
What do you expect to gain from this trip? *
 I expect to gain more than I will give. I will grow closer to the Lord and our members as well as the people there. I will gain a better understanding and compassion for another culture.
Were you involved in any of the planning or organization of this trip? If so, please explain. *
We have not started planning yet. I will attend meetings as I am able.
How your involvement with LTC will help you in the mission field?: *
I was involved in scripture reading and puppets and drama as well as other things in LTC.  I will be able to help lead devotionals. I will help with VBS doing puppet shows and skits. I will also feel more comfortable talking and meeting people.
