Laptops in the Social Studies Classroom Research Survey
Hello high school social studies teachers!  Please help me gather research for a paper I am writing entitled "Laptops in the social studies classroom, engaging student learning in the world of Web 2.0."  The vision is for every student in the social studies' classroom to have access to a laptop (one-to-one) to use during class.  The laptops would not go home or to other classes with the students.  They would belong to that classroom.  The argument is that this would allow the teacher to utilize Web 2.0 tools to engage students in meaningful projects, greatly enhancing learning.
