Leesburg TPP Rally - Signup form for New Yorkers

On September 9th, activists from around the world will converge in Leesburg, VA for a rally against the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a new 11-country free trade agreement described by Public Citizen's Global Trade Watch as a "corporate power tool." TPP theatens environmental and food safety laws, labor rights, family farmers, access to life saving medicines, internet freedom, and animal welfare, and will exacerbate the loss of jobs in US. TradeJustice New York Metro is coordinating participation in the protest from people in the NYC metropolitan area. We'll be traveling together to Washington, DC where we'll take a chartered bus to the rally in Leesburg and back to DC after the rally. As of yet, we haven't decided whether we'll also be chartering a bus from NYC to DC or if participants will just take a Greyhound or Chinatown bus together, but we'll let you know shortly. Please register here if you plan to attend the rally, aren't sure yet but would like more information, and/or would like to volunteer in advance of the protest.
