BOYS: Huron (6-4) at Temperance Bedford (9-1) *
Pioneer couldn’t knock off the league-leading Kicking Mules on the road last week, and the River Rats should come away empty handed from this one, too. Bedford, 61-59.
BOYS: Saline (7-5) at Pioneer (9-3) *
Pioneer has been struggling a bit, with a loss last week and a slim win over Skyline Tuesday. But Saline hasn’t shown the ability to win against the SEC’s upper-echelon. Pioneer, 57-49.
BOYS: Willow Run (4-7) at Arbor Prep (6-4) *
I’m venturing out of my comfort zone, picking teams that play in leagues I know nothing about. But Willow Run seems to be picking up steam, with 102 and 73 points scored in its last two. Willow Run, 75-65.
GIRLS: Pioneer (8-5) at Saline (8-6) *
Saline won by a point in the first matchup, and is coming off a big win Tuesday at formerly first-place Temperance Bedford. Saline, 45-39.
GIRLS: Temperance Bedford (10-4) at Huron (8-4) *
Huron can take a two-game lead in the SEC Red with a win here. That should be motivation enough for the River Rats. Huron, 63-52.
GIRLS: Ypsilanti (8-5) at Chelsea (9-4) *
Ypsilanti will be looking to get back on track after a tough stretch, but Chelsea has won its last three by at least 28 and appears to be hitting its stride. Chelsea, 54-42.
