Call for Pitches: Defense and True Crime
We're booking the next two issues of Symbolia and want to hear from you! If you've got an interesting story to tell, please submit a pitch for one or both of the below themes. We're looking for writers, artists, and journalists with experience crafting interactive content and will pay special attention to pitches for internationally reported stories. We only accept biographical essays in rare circumstances and prefer reported work.

The Themes:

Defend Yourself: From the future of weaponry to how veterans get by, this issue will take a broad look at human identities behind the complex systems and technologies that keep us safe in the modern age.

True Crime: We're looking for tales of mind-boggling heists, stupefying stunts, and daring exploits on the other side of the law. This issue will be a fast-paced, exhilarating set of reported reads--perfect for summer vacation reading.
