Skyline district final, 7 p.m. Friday *
It looks like it’ll be Ypsilanti vs. Huron in the final here. Huron certainly has the ability to win this district, but has seemed off as of late, including Monday against Pinckney. The Phoenix, meanwhile, looked unstoppable. Ypsilanti.
Bedford district final, 7 p.m. Friday *
It’s three Washtenaw County teams vs. Temperance Bedford in the semifinals. I’ll go with the non-homer pick and say Kicking Mules at home. All hail Jackson Lamb. Bedford.
Livonia Clarenceville district final, 6 p.m. Friday *
I’ll admit I’m lacking a bit in my knowledge of this district, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see Gabriel Richard pull it off. But Community played a tough schedule and seems to be playing well as of late. Community.
Whitmore Lake district final, 7 p.m. Friday *
Those who read the district preview Monday know I picked Greenhills. Maybe I’m penalizing them too much for an off night in a quarterfinal win over Whitmore Lake, but I’m pulling a switcheroo. Clinton.
Washtenaw Christian district final, 7 p.m. Friday *
This will be another non-homer pick. Washtenaw Christian should advance to play Livingston Christian at home in the final, but the team from Pinckney seems too strong. Livingston Christian.
