"I realized this morning that I don't have any green clothes!" Bella told her friend Mark. It was St. Patrick's Day, when most kids wore green clothes to school. "But I did do something related to green," Bella said. "Can you figure it out?"

     Mark stared at Bella. "You washed your hair with green shampoo?"

     "No," Bella said, giggling. "I wore yellow and blue. When blended together, they make green."

     A woman from the nature center brought in a hedgehog, an owl, and a snake.

     "I don't want to touch the snake," Jack said. "Snakes have creeped me out ever since I had one for a pet."

     "How could you go from owning a snake to not wanting to pet one?" Alex said.

     "You'd feel the same if you left the cage open one night and woke up to find it slithering over your head."
