BOYS: Pioneer (8-2) at Temperance Bedford (7-0) *
Bedford’s record may look better, but Pioneer has more quality wins and is on a roll lately. Pioneer, 64-58.
BOYS: Lincoln (4-6) at Chelsea (2-7) *
Lincoln’s played a tough schedule, and should start reaping the rewards of that. Lincoln, 65-56.
BOYS: Skyline (4-5) at Huron (4-4) *
Skyline seems to be able to play a close game with anyone, it’s closing them out that’s been tough. Huron won’t be easy. Huron, 59-56.
BOYS: Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central (10-0) at Milan (9-1) *
Huron League picks aren’t my specialty, but Milan played a tougher non-league, and they’re at home. Good enough for me. Milan, 55-51.
GIRLS: Chelsea (7-4) at Lincoln (10-2) *
I may live to regret picking a 7-4 team on the road against a 10-2 one, but I think Chelsea is more battle-tested this season and should pull out a close one. Chelsea, 48-45.
GIRLS: Skyline (5-7) at Huron (6-4), 5:30 p.m. Friday *
Skyline had a nice start, but has struggled since. Huron is starting to look like the team we expected. Huron, 48-34.
