Share your own cell phone data results
The Salt Lake Tribune tested 3G and 4G cell phone data network speeds across the Salt Lake Valley. However, results can vary from day to day and street to street. To give Utahns a better idea of data rates over the long term, The Tribune is asking readers to test their own data speeds and share them. Please use the free Speedtest.Net app available through the Android Market or Apple Store to test your speeds. This will help ensure consistent readings. Please only enter actual data rates you have collected with the app. All of the following questions are required. To see the map with readers results, visit bitly.com/slccellreadermap. The map will be updated by The Tribune, so there may be a delay in your results showing up.
