Be it known to all Stittsville Scouting Members, be they Beavers, Cubs, Scouts or Venturers that the 1st Stittsville Scouts will be mustering for the Carleton Area Spring Camp at the Provincial Park of Fitzroy Harboure. You are requested to join over 1000 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, Leaders and parents for a weekend of camping.  Registration will be open until APRIL 1st.

1st Stittsville has an Early Advancement program, which allows third year Beavers to advance to Cubs and third year Cubs to advance to Scouts, during the month of May.  We also encourage the third year youth to “camp-up’ at the Spring Camporee, with their new sections.   We want this to be a positive experience for the 3rd year youth, and therefore, camping-up is optional.  Any third year youth who is not comfortable camping-up, is welcome to camp with their existing group.  

If you will be 'camping up' please indicate the section you will be 'camping up' with, NOT your current section. Contact your leaders if you have any questions concerning Early Advancement and camping-up.

Beavers who attend the Spring Camporee must be accompanied by a parent.   Cub parents are not required to attend camp with their Cubs, however, we do appreciate help from any parents who choose to participate with their youth.  Adult supervision will be provided at all times.  Any youth who has special medical concerns or medications should attend with a parent.

The cost for camp is $45 per person, and includes food, t-shirt, camp crest, park fees and activity costs.  We strongly recommend that t-shirts be ordered at least one size larger than what would normally be ordered for the wearer.  Youth medium will fit a small Beaver.  Adult XXL, XXXL and larger sizes are available for an additional fee of $5.00.  You may order extra Camporee t-shirts at a cost of $7.50.  

You must register online before you hand in your cheque to your section lead.  Download the attached registration forms and submit them to your Section Leader.

This is the finale for the scouting year for most Stittsville sections. Colonial Volunteers from Carleton Area including Kanata, Dunrobin, Carp, Richmond, Munster, Ashton, Glen Cairn, Almonte and Arnprior will also be mustering!
