Arts and Sciences Advising Meeting: Pitt-Recognized Programs and Exchanges
Students using a Pitt-Recognized Program or Exchange must attend a meeting with Art and Sciences advisors. *Panther Program participants DO NOT need to attend this meeting.*
OAKLAND STUDENTS: You can only schedule this meeting AFTER you have attended a Pre-Departure Meeting and received a Course Approval and Registration Form. The purpose of this meeting is to finalize the following critical components of studying abroad:
1. Approve potential courses taken abroad that your major/minor/certification advisor could not approve.
2. Officially registering the student for study abroad credit and thus triggering dispersement of any financial aid.
The meeting is located at 201 Thackeray Hall. Please bring the following to this meeting:
1. A completed Course Approval Form filled out in pen, not pencil.
2. Course descriptions, in English, for any general education or electives you wish to be approved.
3. A signed copy of the Dean's Special Permission Form if the credits you take abroad will count towards your last thirty credits prior to graduation.
