Brain atrophy in Multiple Sclerosis
Brain atrophy is the shrinking of the brain that occurs in MS. We think this is due to the ongoing loss of neurones and axons and it is associated with a poor prognosis.

This can only be measured on serial MRIs done for example a year apart.

If you had brain atrophy would you consider switching to a drug or DMT that had been shown to have an impact on brain atrophy?
In other words one of the DMTs that had been shown to slow the shrinking of the brain.
